H59 arrives in Mechanicsburg with a pair of GP38-2s bound for Carlisle.

A pair of Conrail painted GP38-2s lead H59 on the Shippensburg Industrial into Mechanicsburg. I believe this was the last solid-Conrail lashup I ever saw.

We awoke today to an ice storm, and the lead engine of HS12 is about to encounter ice covered tree branches. The conditions today were so bad that HS12 had 2 GP38-2s and a GP40-2 for power.
